FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Association of Professional Sleep Consultants Welcomes A New Regional Director
The APSC wishes to extend a very warm welcome to our new Regional Director, Summer Hartman (USA-West).
Summer Hartman

Summer joins us with a wealth of experience, having worked for 21 years teaching and supporting families all over the country. She started out as a nanny in 1996 with a lawyer in the White House and has worked with multiple high profile clients since.
Summer ignited her interest and passion for sleep when she started taking care of foster babies (she had 7 foster babies between three and 12 months of age from 2004-2006!).
In 2007, she moved to Phoenix Arizona for her husband?s health. She started working for a company called Gentle Ventures and took their training to be a Newborn Care Specialist – and this was when she opened her company Sleeping Sweet Peas.
Among her many passions and talents is her love for social media and writing. Summer has written articles for New Parent Magazine and NPR News, and this fall, she will begin teaching her own sleep training program to fellow consultants at The Birth Workers Academy. In her new role at the APSC, Summer is looking forward to supporting and encouraging others to pursue their passions in the field of sleep.
Summer has been married 18 years to her husband Miles Hartman and two children Ethan 16 and Sophia 15.
